What is sound healing?
Sound is vibration, and vibrations touch every part of our being, so sound is heard through every cell in our bodies. Each Tibetan singing bowl has its own frequency and resonance, and when played together, the tones create the perfect state for meditation and healing. Sound from the singing bowls helps the brain enter the theta wave frequencies. At this theta frequency, our brains are in deep meditative, peaceful, and self healing states. In this state, immune function is improved, heart rate and blood pressure are lowered, stress is reduced, and endorphins are released. Our relaxation reflex is activated and pain responses are inhibited. It is in this brain state that emotional release, healing, and rejuvenation happen.
